Job Overview:
We are actively seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a fully remote capacity as a Document Management Specialist. This integral role involves supporting a range of administrative tasks within a healthcare environment, including the organization of files, management of sensitive information, and facilitation of an efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively organize and manage documents and files.
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in the handling of electronic health records (EHR).
  • Prepare and compile packets of information for both internal and external purposes.
  • Manage spreadsheets and assist with data entry and analysis tasks.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Handle inbound calls with courtesy, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Review and audit medical records to uphold accuracy and compliance standards.
  • Utilize software tools, such as Epic, to enhance process efficiency.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in utilizing EHR systems for effective management of health records.
  • Skilled in using Epic Software for healthcare-related activities.
  • Strong auditing capabilities to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of medical records.
  • Ability to create visual data representations, such as charts and graphs.
  • Experience in claims administration, including the handling of insurance claims.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing extensive volumes of documents.
  • A dedicated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive patient information.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in document management within a healthcare context.
  • Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and customer service abilities.
  • Relevant degree or certification in health administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
