Job Description

Job Overview As a prominent nonprofit organization committed to enhancing health and social resilience in urban communities, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Assistant. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to culturally relevant behavioral health and outreach services for American Indian and Alaskan Native populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily operations within the office, ensuring seamless coordination and efficiency.
  • Manage client scheduling and inquiries, serving as a primary point of contact.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to program staff, including calendar management and communication outreach.
  • Oversee the inventory of office supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Prepare and manage expense reports, including cardholder submissions.
  • Handle incoming and departmental mail, ensuring proper distribution.
  • Support community outreach initiatives and assist in health education events.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to align with team objectives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong organizational capabilities and multitasking proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse populations.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative capacity.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Native American cultures and traditions is highly advantageous.
