We are seeking compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to provide high-quality, evidence-based care to adults in need of mental health support. In this fully remote role, you will collaborate with therapists and psychiatrists to develop treatment plans that empower clients on their mental health journey. This position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to see clients during business hours, evenings, or weekends based on your availability.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role requiring a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week. We are currently looking for providers licensed in California or Texas.

Skills

  • Active PMHNP license in California or Texas (or both)
  • Board certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Master’s degree in nursing, specializing in psychiatric mental health
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on outcome-driven, evidence-based care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care
  • Ability to work independently in a remote telemedicine setting
  • Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Commitment to increasing access to high-quality mental health care
  • Experience in startups or fast-paced environments (preferred, but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thoughtful and engaged client sessions, including 30-minute initial evaluations and 15-minute follow-ups
  • Maintain and provide direct psychiatric care for a panel of clients
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop the best possible treatment plans
  • Participate in case consultations and ongoing clinical discussions
  • Work alongside dedicated professionals focused on improving mental health outcomes
