Senior Accounting Specialist - Remote | WFH

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including transaction categorization, job costing, and reconciliation.
• Execute full-charge bookkeeping using sophisticated accounting tools, such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and POS system integration.
• Oversee both cash and accrual accounting, particularly with multi-client engagements.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and perform reconciliations while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
• Support onboarding processes, periodic reviews, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with clients to address inquiries, gather essential information, and articulate bookkeeping data effectively.
• Drive enhancements in our automated bookkeeping processes and contribute to our business intelligence initiatives.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in advanced accounting software and systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on client interaction.
• A detail-oriented mindset with substantial experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
