Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a pivotal contributor to financial decision-making by analyzing and reporting on product costs, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating profitable growth.
• Create and uphold precise cost models for our products, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, and overhead.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by providing crucial insights to bolster business planning.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, including GAAP, to maintain financial compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and engineering, to enhance cost efficiency and promote operational excellence.

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as IDEAS and Oracle, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field; CPA, CMA, or ongoing pursuit of certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
