Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Social Media Marketing Manager to steer our social media endeavors and showcase our captivating travel destination across various digital platforms. This remote role is designed for someone who is enthusiastic about leveraging storytelling and innovative content creation to engage audiences and enhance our brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a holistic social media strategy that aligns with our marketing objectives to elevate brand awareness across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and X.
Create and curate compelling content, ranging from posts and stories to videos, ensuring a visually appealing and cohesive representation of our destination’s unique experiences.
Foster community engagement by actively managing interactions on social media, responding to comments and messages, and encouraging meaningful conversations with potential visitors and local residents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the digital marketing manager and content manager, to synchronize organic and paid social media efforts and integrate campaigns with the editorial calendar.
Engage with local businesses to highlight their offerings, plan familiarization tours for new social content, and strengthen community partnerships.
Identify and collaborate with influencers and content creators to amplify our reach and authentically promote travel experiences.
Analyze social media performance metrics, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and utilize insights to refine strategies and enhance audience engagement.
Manage the organization’s collection of user-generated photos and videos through platforms like Crowdriff.
Required Skills
Proficiency in managing key social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities tailored for diverse target audiences.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) along with other editing software.
Competence in photography and videography practices, including the use of basic equipment.
Familiarity with Google Analytics and principles of influencer marketing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: \(70,000–\)75,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
