Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant (Student Advisor) to join our team in a remote, part-time capacity. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the main point of contact for students involved in our virtual learning program, providing essential guidance to both students and their families as they navigate the program and its offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison for students and their families, facilitating program navigation and support.
  
• Manage a caseload of students, tracking academic progress and offering necessary support.
  
• Provide individualized or small-group academic assistance tailored to student needs.
  
• Participate in translation projects to aid students in communicating effectively in their preferred language.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in utilizing web-based applications and platforms.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, complemented by exceptional customer service skills.
  
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  
• Adaptability to evolving systems, processes, and student requirements, with appropriate supervisory support.
  
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required, with additional language skills in Russian or Chinese being advantageous.
  

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in education or a related discipline is mandatory.
  
• Previous experience as an instructional assistant or educator is preferred.
  
• Familiarity with troubleshooting technology-related challenges is an additional benefit.
  
• Strong problem-solving aptitude alongside effective communication and organizational capabilities.
