Skills

• Active NMLS license (multiple state licenses preferred)
• 2+ years of mortgage sales experience with a proven track record of success in loan originations
• Strong ability to self-manage, multitask, and generate new business
• Experience using Loan Origination Systems (LOS), preferably Encompass
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships to generate new business through networking, referrals, and company-provided leads
• Guide borrowers through the refinance and home purchase loan application process
• Conduct borrower interviews and analyze financial and credit data to determine the best financing solutions
• Provide expert advice on loan products, eligibility, pricing, and required documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HMDA

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mortgage sales experience with proven success in loan originations
• Strong self-management skills and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven analytical and decision-making abilities

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Active NMLS license required

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant mortgage sales experience
• Proven experience using Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
