Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain mortgage products clearly to members
• Proficiency in the use of internet/cloud-based mortgage technology, including loan origination systems and pricing tools
• Thorough knowledge of various loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA RD, and other portfolio lending options

Responsibilities

• Originate quality mortgage loans while providing clear, helpful information and support to members
• Maintain a high level of knowledge about mortgage products and services
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Use internet/cloud-based technology to manage mortgage systems
• Work collaboratively with members, vendors, and internal teams to deliver top-notch service

Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree in business or finance
• At least five years of experience in first mortgage origination
• A well-established book of business and a network of contacts for consistently originating an average monthly funded loan volume of $1MM or more
• A mix of at least 60% purchase volume in the past two years
• Strong communication skills and thorough knowledge of various loan programs
