Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Great Plains, Restaurant 365, Microsoft Dynamics, or Toast is highly valued.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reporting tools.
• Prepare and integrate journal entries.
• Analyze profit and loss statements and account trends.
• Identify and correct general ledger coding errors.
• Assist with various accounting projects and tasks.
• Learn and apply basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of restaurant bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proven experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
