Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed personal and store sales goals.
  • Provide a fun, full-service experience to all customers.

  • Supervise daily store operations and manage loss prevention.
  • Plan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with policy.
  • Understand and demonstrate the Journeys culture to the team.

Qualifications

  • Prior management experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Ability to work 45 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to climb, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Complete all training programs leading up to Manager in Training position.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • Prior management experience in a retail setting is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience required.
