In this position, you’ll be the go-to person for our insureds’ claims departments and third-party administrators, providing expert guidance and support. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to drive positive outcomes and ensure reserve adequacy on excess losses.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insureds’ claims departments and third-party administrators
• Guide and direct insureds’ claims processes and settlements
• Perform detailed claim reviews and monitor prospective insureds’ claims supervision capabilities
• Create accurate case evaluations for LOC purposes
• Monitor and ensure appropriate reserve levels on excess losses
• Handle complex, litigated transportation claims and other commercial liability claims
• Utilize exceptional litigation and negotiation skills to resolve disputes
• Travel for mediations, customer visits, and industry seminars

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex, litigated transportation claims
• Experience working with third-party administrators or insureds’ claims departments
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to evaluate injuries effectively

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
