The RN Manager of Case Management will play a vital role in our acute care hospital located in Silicon Valley. Reporting to the Director of Case Management, you will assist in managing the functions of case management, utilization management, and discharge planning. This position involves assessing and evaluating care/services rendered, coordinating and controlling resources, and participating in the annual review of the Case Management/Utilization Management Plan.

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in California or holds a Compact/Multi-State RN License

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Case Management in overseeing case management and utilization management functions
  • Evaluate and assess care/services rendered
  • Coordinate and control resources for optimal patient care
  • Participate in the annual review of the Case Management/Utilization Management Plan
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; Master’s degree is a bonus
  • 5+ years of related experience in an acute care setting required
  • 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred
  • Acute Care Case Management experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • RN License in California (or Compact/Multi-State)

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years of healthcare experience with acute care setting required
  • Supervisory and management experience is preferred
