Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: \(75,000 - \)90,000 per year
• Full-time position (Monday - Friday)

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities
• Prepare for surveys through off-site preparation and facility tours
• Interview staff and families, review records, and observe care quality
• Communicate non-compliance issues and ensure understanding of deficiencies
• Evaluate quality of care and consumers’ rights
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor implementation of corrective plans
• Assist with facility and bureau training as needed

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Successful completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and SMQT
• Minimum of two (2) years recent experience as a surveyor
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
