Description

The Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the marketing and sales planning and execution for the assigned communities. This role involves significant discretion in marketing efforts and the responsibilities akin to that of a Director of Sales. You will develop a Quarterly Sales Plan, manage the lead database, and advance leads through the sales process to achieve budgeted occupancy and revenue goals.

Skills

  • Strong sales and marketing experience in the senior care industry or similar environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent planning, negotiating, and communication skills
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • Willingness to travel 100% of the time within North America

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Sales and ensure sales training is provided to community team members
  • Demonstrate understanding of the senior care market, ensuring compliance with local guidelines
  • Oversee the move-in process and manage resident administrative files
  • Execute a dynamic Quarterly Sales Plan based on market analysis
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to advance leads through the sales process
  • Attend regular training and development meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Proven success in marketing and sales
  • Goal-oriented with a commitment to achieving budgeted occupancy
  • Adaptable to various community environments
  • Competent in organizational and time management skills

Education Requirements

  • College degree preferred, particularly in a relevant field

Experience Requirements

  • Relevant marketing and sales experience in the senior living or related industry
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
