The Salesforce Developer will leverage the Salesforce Public Sector foundation (formerly Vlocity) to configure and customize solutions that meet business requirements. This role entails designing, documenting, and reviewing detailed functional and system specifications, while participating in various programming activities adhering to the current SDLC process and agile practices. You will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and implementing solutions, as well as creating workflows, integrations, and performing platform configurations.

Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience with Omniscripts, Omnistudio, Development of VisualForce and Lightning Web Components, Flex Cards, IDX, Dataraptor, Integration Procedures, Salesforce API including REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, MuleSoft or ETL tools
  • 5-8 years of experience with APEX, SOQL, Creating Workflows, SDLC, Agile SCRUM
  • Expertise in setting up environments for Salesforce public sector solutions
  • Preferred experience: Copado
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Salesforce Developer and Certified Salesforce Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements
  • Design, document, and review functional and system specifications
  • Create workflows leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector data model
  • Perform APEX development (Classes and Triggers), VisualForce pages, and Lightning Web components
  • Create integrations using Salesforce APIs with other systems
  • Conduct code reviews and make necessary adjustments
  • Manage organization-wide defaults, permission sets, and workflow rules
  • Perform platform configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, etc.)
  • Produce accurate estimates of time and resources required for tasks
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices
  • Protect PHI/PII/PCI as necessary

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Salesforce Public Sector data model
  • Comfort with test-driven development and agile practices
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Relevant certifications in Salesforce development and administration are preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in Salesforce development and related technologies.
