Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or Data Analytics (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
  • At least four (4) years of experience in financial reporting or FP&A
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements related to ownership structures and entities
  • Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and using financial tools such as MS Excel, SAS, and ERP systems like PeopleSoft
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciling ledger accounts and reviewing financial statements such as balance sheets and profit-and-loss reports
  • Train and review work prepared by offshore personnel, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Analyze and report financial transactions, ensuring owner-related ledgers are accurate and compliant with accounting standards
  • Monitor and manage cash needs for owner portfolios to maintain adequate working capital
  • Serve as the primary contact for ownership groups regarding financial inquiries, reports, and special analysis requests
  • Collaborate with internal teams across accounting, asset management, financial systems, and treasury to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Lead the transformation of financial data into accurate and meaningful reports while identifying areas for process improvement
  • Prepare audit schedules and facilitate timely responses to auditor requests
  • Maintain compliance with required training and regulatory guidelines to ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications
