Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or Data Analytics (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
At least four (4) years of experience in financial reporting or FP&A
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements related to ownership structures and entities
Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and using financial tools such as MS Excel, SAS, and ERP systems like PeopleSoft
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing tight deadlines
Responsibilities
Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciling ledger accounts and reviewing financial statements such as balance sheets and profit-and-loss reports
Train and review work prepared by offshore personnel, ensuring accuracy in journal entries and account reconciliations
Analyze and report financial transactions, ensuring owner-related ledgers are accurate and compliant with accounting standards
Monitor and manage cash needs for owner portfolios to maintain adequate working capital
Serve as the primary contact for ownership groups regarding financial inquiries, reports, and special analysis requests
Collaborate with internal teams across accounting, asset management, financial systems, and treasury to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Lead the transformation of financial data into accurate and meaningful reports while identifying areas for process improvement
Prepare audit schedules and facilitate timely responses to auditor requests
Maintain compliance with required training and regulatory guidelines to ensure adherence to industry standards
Take on additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
