The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the Controller’s organization, managing both routine and ad hoc responsibilities. This position is part of a multidisciplinary accounting team focused on delivering accurate and timely results through collaboration and accountability. The team supports various Finance functions throughout the year, enhances processes, aids in reporting, participates in system implementations, and conducts year-end audits and transactions related to mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.

• Strong understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process for a multi-entity, multi-currency environment by preparing and posting journal entries
• Prepare fluctuation analyses for balance sheets and income statements
• Ensure accuracy through balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support the reconciliation center of excellence with timely resolutions of reconciling items
• Assist auditors with year-end and internal audits
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a smooth month-end close process
• Identify control gaps and monitor controls in daily responsibilities

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting and/or external financial reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent recent experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
