The Senior Civil Engineer will lead and manage the design and implementation of transportation projects that positively impact communities, from complex roadways to signature trail projects. Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: \(105,000 to \)205,000, based on experience and location

Skills

• Professional Engineering license in the United States/Canada
• Proficient in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other design software
• Strong experience in grading, drainage design, and roadway geometric design
• Knowledge of preparing construction and transportation permit documents
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Passion for multimodal and active transportation design

Responsibilities

• Lead and support an interdisciplinary team to create sustainable transportation infrastructure
• Manage and lead company projects in your region and support projects across North America
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues from various disciplines to deliver projects
• Participate in business development and project pursuits
• Support the firm’s quality initiatives and deliver innovative project solutions

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in the civil industry
• Minimum 2 years in a project and/or design management role for roadways
• Prior consulting experience is preferred
• Experience in business development is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
