Responsibilities

• Facilitate transitions from orientation to independence for caregivers
  
• Track and report orientation progress to Clinical Educator and leaders
  
• Conduct competency assessments for new caregivers
  
• Validate ongoing competencies of current caregivers
  
• Review and educate caregivers on Orientation Module content
  
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate care plans
  
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
  
• Make recommendations for training and skill development
  
• Conduct supervisory visits and maintain clinical documentation
  
• Instruct and mentor nursing orientees
  
• Collaborate with educators to plan and execute orientation programs
  

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California
  
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
  
• Experience in a mentoring or leadership role
  
• Strong understanding of patient care standards and practices
  

Education Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred, but not required
