Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience in the tractor, ground care, compact construction, or outdoor power equipment industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with CRM and ERP tools is a plus
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across different teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data, present findings, and make strategic recommendations
  • Experience in market research to identify potential new business opportunities
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed

Responsibilities

  • Identify and recruit construction channel sales partners to expand market presence
  • Develop and implement growth strategies, leveraging industry expertise to set sales goals
  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams to define, develop, and launch new products aligned with market needs
  • Create and maintain data templates to support dealer operations
  • Assist in market analysis, pricing strategies, and program development to maintain competitiveness
  • Drive initiatives to increase market share and expand the construction product line
  • Assess current product development pipelines and identify opportunities for increased sales and growth
  • Represent the company at national and local trade shows, promoting products and strengthening brand awareness
  • Collaborate with internal training teams to develop educational materials for dealers and sales personnel
  • Conduct product presentations at trade shows and corporate events
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key vendors and clients while participating in contract negotiations
  • Prepare and present reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
