Skills

• 8+ years of experience in designing and reviewing logical and physical data models using SQL and/or PL/SQL
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with relational, dimensional, and/or analytic database systems
• 6+ years of experience in writing SQL packages, functions, triggers, and handling mass data updates and deletions
• 3+ years of experience in query optimization and performance tuning
• 3+ years of experience in data conversion and transformation between systems

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to the design and development of new and existing projects by conducting data and process modeling activities
• Develop entity, logical, and physical data models to meet application requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the architecture of applications aligns with business objectives
• Provide expert guidance in database design, including both logical and physical models, specifically with Oracle and SQL Server
• Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts to improve performance
• Integrate software components into cohesive, fully functional systems
• Create prototypes and mockups for user feedback and approval
• Document processes and flowcharts to ensure a smooth system requirement flow
• Work on large-scale agile projects, ensuring consistent data performance and management
• Enhance metadata management, data modeling, and relevant tools such as Erwin or ER Studio

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
