The Senior Environmental Geologist / Environmental Project Manager will play a vital role in overseeing environmental investigation and remediation projects. This position is centered in our award-winning Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation Consulting firm located in Ventura, Santa Barbara, or Burbank, California. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental project management and a strong technical background in geology or a related field. Skills

• 10+ years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation projects
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to write and edit technical reports
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Understanding of environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, SDWA)
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate environmental project staff and subcontractors
• Serve as the environmental technical lead on complex projects
• Author work plans and reports for multi-faceted environmental projects
• Assist in business development and proposal preparation
• Supervise environmental support personnel and mentor staff
• Maintain client relationships and manage expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, civil/environmental engineering, environmental science, or related field
• Professional Geologist (PG) certification or similar
• Demonstrated professional judgment and attention to detail

• Minimum 10 years in environmental project management
