Skills

• 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger, and reconciliation processes
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ERP system implementation and management (Odessa preferred)
• Strong technical expertise in API development, SQL, and system configuration
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead system implementation projects

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and optimize the Odessa Lease Management System
• Develop and maintain APIs, stored procedures, and custom software integrations with Salesforce and other enterprise systems
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 842, and other regulatory requirements
• Lead and participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system enhancements
• Act as the primary liaison between Accounting, Product Management, Technology, and Back-Office Operations for Odessa-related projects
• Partner with Accounting SMEs to gather requirements and ensure compliance with lease accounting standards
• Streamline processes for adjusting lease payment schedules and tracking commitments
• Design and implement systemic controls to ensure data accuracy
• Lead quality assurance testing for new system features and updates
• Provide training and support to various teams on Odessa functionality
• Serve as the Odessa system expert, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent accounting certification is a plus
• Experience in the leasing industry or working with lease accounting standards is a plus
