Skills

  • At least 10 years of DoD logistics experience
  • Relevant experience in SATCOM/MUOS
  • Familiarity with NAVWAR and SSC organizations
  • Experience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programs
  • Desired certifications: PMP or DAWIA PM Level II or equivalent
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert logistics support for Service Life Extension (SLE) space acquisition operations, adhering to DoD guidelines
  • Analyze system design parameters to ensure optimal product support resource allocation
  • Plan for product support, focusing on system readiness, cost control, and risk mitigation
  • Ensure SLE design compliance with DoD counterfeit prevention policies
  • Proactively identify and manage long-lead production items
  • Contribute to the integration of predictive and corrective maintenance methodologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement support plans
  • Develop and update logistics documentation and contribute to acquisition reports
  • Analyze safety hazards, failure trends, and system performance metrics
  • Assist in on-orbit investigations by providing risk assessments and recommendations
  • Support the maintenance and sustainment of ground system hardware and software
  • Analyze system data to enhance reliability and minimize outages

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in logistics support for space systems
