Skills

• 10+ years of multi-line claims experience
• Florida claims experience and a Florida adjuster’s license (required)
• Experience handling litigated claims
• Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions
• Understanding of liability in cases involving behavioral and mental health issues
• Experience managing sexual abuse and misconduct liability claims
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Investigating, evaluating, and adjusting multi-line claims
• Establishing reserves and providing reserve recommendations
• Reviewing and approving medical, legal, and damage estimates
• Negotiating settlements and authorizing payments
• Managing claims sent to outside vendors
• Maintaining claim diaries and monitoring subrogation claims
• Computing disability rates and coordinating communication with all parties
• Ensuring compliance with claim handling standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Proven experience in multi-line claims
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex litigated claims
