The Process Engineer III position is integral to the Package Development-MSAT (Process Science in Global Manufacturing Science & Technology) within the pharmaceutical sector. This role primarily involves making technical and business-based recommendations on packaging systems and materials for both new and marketed pharmaceutical products. The engineer will develop test protocols, manage packaging studies, and serve as a technical focal point for site and external contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) for multi-site projects. Additionally, the role includes identifying new packaging technologies that enhance cost, compliance, and quality, while providing technical leadership and support during the process design and validation phases.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in upstream process unit operations in biotech/vaccine manufacturing

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • BS in Packaging Science, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in package development/engineering or R&D
  • Experience in equipment start-up, qualification, and validation preferred
