Compensation and Benefits

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business is a plus.
• 7+ years in Product Management, with experience as a Product Owner writing PRDs, user stories, and managing backlogs.
• Deep understanding of API technologies and SaaS frameworks.
• Hands-on experience launching developer portals and API products.
• Proficiency in REST, GraphQL, JSON, SOAP, and related technologies.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams to shape technical solutions.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in system architecture and evaluating technical trade-offs.
• Background in the payments industry is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like PCI, CCPA, or HIPAA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle from inception to retirement, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps to ensure stakeholder buy-in and alignment with strategic priorities.
• Prioritize backlogs, maintaining a well-structured backlog with actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
• Craft comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to enable engineering and design teams to execute effectively.
• Track and report performance by measuring product success using key metrics and providing regular updates to leadership.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and document scalable, user-friendly APIs.
• Partner with marketing teams to create compelling product messaging and go-to-market strategies.
• Ensure all products meet industry regulations like PCI, CCPA, and HIPAA.
• Stay ahead of trends by monitoring the payments industry to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Conduct competitive analysis and translate insights into innovative product strategies.
• Work with UX/UI teams to ensure product interfaces are intuitive and seamless.
