Compensation and Benefits

  • \(175,000 - \)250,000 per year (Placement within this range depends on experience and skills)
  • Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package

Skills

  • A degree in a quantitative field (Master’s or higher preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in the investment world
  • Deep expertise in fixed income markets, securities, and derivatives, particularly those involving credit risk
  • Strong grasp of quantitative portfolio construction and optimization techniques
  • Proficiency in R or Python programming
  • Willingness to explore and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency
  • Familiarity with risk forecasting models
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others
  • Creative problem-solving ability
  • CFA designation is a plus
  • Experience with US Securitized products, especially Mortgage Backed Securities (Agency and Non-Agency) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth quantitative research on US fixed income portfolios, focusing on the sizing and combination of sectors, strategies, and alpha signals
  • Integrate robust risk awareness into portfolio construction models, ensuring resilience in both stable and volatile market conditions
  • Work closely with portfolio managers and senior leadership to advocate for and implement innovative quantitative methodologies
  • Partner with technology teams to translate your models into real-world applications
