Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders
• Establish and grow market presence through marketing and business development
• Manage financial budget for the department and allocate resources accordingly
• Lead the production of proposals
• Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and technical staff
• Establish staffing needs for the section
• Interview and hire staff for the section
• Conduct performance reviews for staff based on project manager feedback
• Provide leadership and continuous performance management for team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
• Professional Engineer License or equivalent
• 10+ years’ experience in site civil engineering
• Project management and business development experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
