As we transition from an on-premise C#/ASP .NET/SQL environment to a modern cloud-based solution, you will primarily focus on developing and supporting our suite of Angular-based custom products, utilizing both Azure and Salesforce applications.

Skills

• Proficient in REST/SOAP web services, C#/C++, .NET, and SQL query optimization
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Angular are essential; Salesforce knowledge is preferred
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Understanding of software development best practices
• Experience with Unit Testing or Testing Standards is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and fellow developers to implement software for strategic projects
• Provide accurate estimates of effort required based on business requirements
• Document development work with necessary materials
• Participate in technical design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices
• Serve as the technical lead on smaller projects while collaborating effectively on larger initiatives
• Develop software within a mixed Windows and PaaS environment
• Work seamlessly within cross-functional teams
• Mentor and coach junior developers to help them grow
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders about project statuses and delivery timelines
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement during the development phase
• Be prepared to work occasional nights and weekends for mission-critical projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in software programming application design, modification, writing, and implementation; experience in the financial services industry is a plus
