Optiwatt is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will play a vital role in reducing CO2 emissions and ensuring electric grid stability. You will work with a talented team to develop intelligent solutions that drive energy, CO2, and cost savings. Skills:

  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or JVM languages.
  • Experienced with cloud offerings and architecture (AWS preferred).
  • Skilled in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) and web platform technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bonus skills: machine learning/data science, UI/UX design, feature design, developer enablement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop smart thermostat technology to enhance energy efficiency and user experience.
  • Contribute to the creation of a next-generation energy management platform.
