Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables for financial analysis and reporting
• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing AP processes
• Familiarity with accounting software like Peachtree (Sage 50), QuickBooks, or similar platforms is a plus
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving financial needs
• Experience in contract negotiations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and general ledger tasks, along with various ad hoc projects
• Manage the full-cycle Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice processing, payment reconciliations, and vendor management
• Lead the implementation and optimization of AP processes to streamline workflows
• Oversee the management of software licenses for the company
• Provide support with Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks, including invoicing and collections
• Assist in contract negotiations and the review of financial terms
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to perform data analysis, financial forecasting, and reporting
• Work closely with other departments to resolve financial issues and continuously improve processes
• Contribute to various ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing AP processes
• Strong proficiency in Excel
