• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities, including month-end close, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis to support business objectives
• Ensure compliance with tax policies and oversee tax payments and returns
• Collaborate with clients to address confidential accounting matters
• Accurately post transactions and classify records within the general ledger (assets, liabilities, expenses, etc.)
• Conduct month-end and year-end financial closings
• Prepare financial documents for audits
• Provide financial guidance and insights to clients via email or phone
• Stay up to date with accounting policies, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Report to the Accounting Manager and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant experience
