Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed flight operation plans tailored to customer-specific requirements
  • Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight safety checks to ensure smooth operations
  • Pilot the UAS remotely, adhering to flight plans and adjusting as needed
  • Provide comprehensive training programs to new UAV pilots
  • Support flight operations outside the continental United States for up to four (4) months as required
  • Perform flight demonstrations for customers in remote locations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maximize operational readiness
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Unmanned Systems or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 500 hours as a Pilot in Command
  • Experience with Vigilant Spirit and Quattro FMS required
  • Must hold and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance
  • Able to obtain an FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Willing to travel up to 100% within and outside the continental United States (CONUS and OCONUS)

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Unmanned Systems or a related field
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UAV operations or related fields
  • Proven experience with UAS in diverse operational environments
  • Experience with deployed UAS Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations preferred
