Skills

• Strong technical background in software development, system architecture, and technical problem-solving
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, C#, or .NET Core
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and version control (e.g., Git)
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring productivity
• Collaborate with technical project managers (TPMs) to efficiently allocate resources and meet both technical and business objectives
• Create an empathetic yet accountable work environment where team members are encouraged to thrive
• Work closely with TPMs to define technical requirements and project milestones
• Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, such as agile methodologies, CI/CD, and high-level architectural standards
• Identify and manage technical debt to ensure the scalability and long-term sustainability of systems
• Champion a transparent, trustworthy, and collaborative team culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience working in rapidly growing organizations is desired
