About the Role: We are seeking a Software Systems Engineer to support Submarine Maintenance Engineering, Planning, and Procurement. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and is contingent upon contract award. What You Will Do: Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions. Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers to plan, design, develop, and utilize electronic data processing systems. Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems, prepare operating instructions, and ensure software standards are met. Provide technical solutions to complex problems, demonstrating imagination, thoroughness, and alignment with organizational objectives. What You Must Have: Bachelor's/Master's/PhD/Juris Doctorate in a related field with relevant experience OR High School Diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience. Extensive knowledge of basic concepts and processes with the ability to perform successfully in non-routine situations. U.S. Citizenship and active Secret security clearance. Bonus Points For: Direct experience with SUBMEPP and/or the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI). Physical Requirements: Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Software Engineer family.
