Job Title: Special Education Teacher Location: Rockford, IL Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $50.00/hour We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our Rockford school community for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities: * Provide direct instruction and support to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). * Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. * Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals. * Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure successful student outcomes. * Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews. * Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth, independence, and confidence. Qualifications: * Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field. * Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement. * Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred. * Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
