Sr. Network Engineer needs 8–10+ years of network engineering experience Sr. Network Engineer requires: • 8–10+ years of network engineering experience • Expertise in Cisco WAN/LAN/WLAN technologies (routers, switches, Nexus Data Center) • Firewall administration and security management experience • F5 Load Balancer configuration (LTM, F5 pool) • Experience with site-to-site VPNs and client VPN solutions • No C2C • Skills: Cisco WAN, Cisco LAN, Cisco WLAN, firewall administration, security management, load balancing, data center networking, Nexus Data Center, LAN switching, routers, firewalls, wireless, SD-WAN, F5 LTM, F5 pool, Wireshark, VPN (site-to-site), client VPN, network monitoring systems, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, QoS, VoIP, network diagrams, SOPs, change management, multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices, network management systems, packet analysis • Sr. Network Engineer duties: • Support site to site VPNs and client VPN solutions. • Work with emerging technologies such as SD-WAN or Data Center products. • Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of case notes, Knowledge base and network diagrams. • Assist with Voice over IP implementation and support. • Follow proper change management processes and escalation procedures. • Ensure customers receive prompt, accurate and courteous service. • Engage vendors and carriers as required to assist in troubleshooting or implementation of network solutions. • Assist in the development of documentation and SOPs for the department. • Assist other team members with special projects and technology rollouts. • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations if required and flexible for over the night andor weekend activities.
