The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting basic surveillances and investigative activities for our operations team.

Responsibilities

• Locate subjects of assigned investigations
• Conduct covert observations (both stationary and mobile surveillance)
• Record subject activity using a recording device
• Prepare written descriptive logs of observations (Surveillance Reports)
• Upload video evidence and surveillance reports

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must meet state-mandated requirements to obtain or maintain a Private Detective/Private Investigator license/registration
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening
• Good driving record
• Weekend and holiday availability

Desired qualifications include:

• Criminal Justice Degree, military service (with honorable discharge), law enforcement experience, and/or loss prevention experience
• Private Investigator license for specified state
• Prior related surveillance and workers compensation investigative experience
• Experience with video surveillance activities

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Criminal Justice is preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in Criminal Justice or related fields preferred

Experience Requirements

• Prior experience in surveillance or investigative roles is preferred
• Familiarity with workers compensation investigations is a plus
