Skills

• Strong knowledge of R&D tax credits and deductions, including Internal Revenue Code sections 174 & 41
• Exceptional communication skills to present complex tax concepts clearly
• Proven experience managing multiple client engagements and leading service teams
• Strong technical expertise in R&D tax credit consulting
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consulting services for R&D tax credits to internal and external clients
• Lead R&D tax credit studies, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams for efficient project delivery
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Stay current with changes in tax laws, industry trends, and state-specific regulations related to R&D credits

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing R&D tax credit consulting projects
• A CPA license or JD in your home state is required
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; MST or MSA from an accredited institution preferred
• Proven success in client engagement management
