Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students with visual impairments
• Provide engaging, direct instruction across various subjects
• Adapt materials and teaching methods to meet unique learning needs
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive educational environment
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned to best support student success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Certification or endorsement in Teaching Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) (required)
• Previous experience working with visually impaired students is preferred but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
