Description

The candidate will play a crucial role in the Data Division’s strategic plan to modernize and create enterprise solutions for state agencies. This position involves collaborating with project team members and GDAC vendor partners to design, develop, and support application programming and functionality. As a key member of the enterprise team, the candidate will serve as a subject matter expert and technical lead, focusing on the ongoing development of enterprise-level business intelligence applications, while implementing technology-driven analytic solutions for stakeholder agencies. The role includes leading innovative enterprise proof of concepts and utilizing advanced analytics and data science techniques, including Artificial Intelligence, with specialized technologies such as SAS. This position is pivotal in advancing the data integration and analytics program statewide.

Compensation and Benefits

• W-2 Rate up to $50/hour
• Hybrid work model with one mandatory office day each week
• Up to four onsite days per month for specific meetings

• Act as a technical lead/SME for the innovation team within the GDAC Enterprise team
• Introduce innovative enterprise proof of concepts using the latest technologies

Qualifications

• Specialized skill set with heightened knowledge in data engineering and data science technologies
• Experience in leading enterprise-level business intelligence projects
• Proven track record of utilizing advanced analytics and data science techniques
