Description

As a Technical Lead, you will maintain active relationships with the Product Owner to understand business requirements, lead requirements gathering meetings, and review designs with the product owner. You will lead efforts with Integration/User Interfaces, develop and own the Program Increment list of features, and define the application scope and objectives. Additionally, you will supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from which programs will be written.

You will perform technical design reviews and code reviews, and be responsible for the delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning efforts. Owning the technical development environment, you will work on the Enterprise team, plan and implement projects, manage schedules, and monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders. Implementing and managing change when necessary to meet project outputs, you will conduct proper risk management and ensure project closure by meeting the definition of done criteria.

Skills

• 10+ years of programming experience with JAVA development
• Expert-level experience with business and technical applications
• Three or more years of experience in a Technical Lead role in JAVA APIs
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices in container-based environments
• Proficiency with Angular, NodeJS, and other JavaScript frameworks
• Familiarity with the AZURE framework and architectural design patterns
• Knowledge of integration scenarios such as Message Queues, Kafka, and web services
• Comfortable working with interfaces including REST web services, swagger profiles, and JSON payloads
• Strong experience working in Agile (Scrum) development teams
• Retail experience preferred but not mandatory
