The Instructor - Technical Course Development Trainer (semiconductor) will be based in our San Jose office, where you will develop and deliver training on industrial products, specifically photolithography equipment. Your responsibilities will include preparing lesson plans and collaborating with both customers and internal teams to implement training programs while maintaining equipment in cleanrooms and training facilities to ensure its availability for training and demonstrations.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to integrate your technical expertise with your course development and training skills, requiring full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user training on Photolithography products in-house and at customer sites
  • Provide classroom and laboratory training for internal and external courses, including operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation of Canon photolithography equipment
  • Develop and revise internal and external technical materials
  • Verify the accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs
  • Prepare the instructional site in the San Jose facility, ensuring proper operation and maintenance of training facilities and equipment
  • Engage in discussion groups to share technical knowledge
  • Contact customers to discuss training needs and gather feedback on current programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Semiconductor equipment and maintenance knowledge preferred; photolithography equipment knowledge helpful
  • Prior experience as a technical trainer preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for travel requirements
