Description

This position is responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of the company’s telecommunications infrastructure, including voice, video, and related components in North America. You will participate in the deployment, upgrading, and management of a geographically distributed IT network and telephony infrastructure, which may require occasional travel. Analyzing the current telecom environment, providing feedback, making recommendations for improvements, and implementing changes are essential tasks expected of this role.

Skills

  • Experienced with Cisco VoIP, Cisco routing/switching products, Nortel Meridian PBX, Avaya VOIP, Polycom video conferencing, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating complex concepts to non-technical users
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of telecommunication and network technologies, concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience in a medium-sized enterprise networking environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional certifications in Cisco, Avaya, or similar technologies preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in telecommunications and IT networking
