Northwest ADHD Treatment Center is seeking exceptional newly licensed Psychologist, LMFT, and LPC professionals who treat children, adolescents, or adults. Our ideal candidates will possess generalist psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic experience, along with a desire to enhance their skills in the assessment and treatment of ADHD within an experienced team of providers. We are an interdisciplinary group of psychologists, counselors, and psychiatric nurse practitioners passionate about ADHD assessment and treatment.

This position is currently telehealth-based, with potential future opportunities to work from our Tualatin or East Portland offices.

We address more than just ADHD; many patients also present with anxiety, adjustment, or mood disorders as comorbidities or standalone diagnoses. The ideal clinician should be comfortable with differential diagnosis and treating common psychological illnesses, including Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and Adjustment Disorders.

Skills

  • Experience in assessing ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and adjustment disorders
  • Willingness to engage in consultation with other clinicians
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills in problem-solving and decision-making
  • High level of confidentiality regarding patient and staff information
  • Ability to maintain proper appearance and conduct
  • Capable of completing clinical documentation within 72 hours after service delivery
  • Enjoys working in a congenial, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Offer direct psychotherapy services including evaluation, psychological testing, and therapy
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and scheduling within our Electronic Health Record software
  • Participate in weekly staff meetings and clinical consultations

Qualifications

  • Licensed as a Psychologist, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Oregon (must transfer/establish license in Oregon if licensed in another state)

Education Requirements

  • Licensed as a Psychologist, LMFT, or LPC in Oregon

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Professional licensure in mental health counseling or psychology

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in assessing and treating various psychological disorders
