Description

This 6-month hybrid contract position is based in Raleigh, NC, for a Tier 3 System Administrator II within the DIT Enterprise Endpoint Management Operations team. This role involves providing security application and software support for endpoint and server operating systems, as well as enterprise software and applications. The Operations team supports both managed and non-managed devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile computing devices, and communication devices, for staff in DIT campus buildings and optimized agencies across the state.

Skills

• Knowledge of Intel/AMD-based computing equipment (Servers, Desktops)
• Extensive experience with MECM (inventory, software distribution, patch management, PowerShell scripting)
• Proficient in Windows OS 10, 11, Windows Server 2016, and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, M365, Office 2016, Visio, Project, and SharePoint
• LAN/WAN troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support for enterprise endpoint security tools (SCCM/MECM, Intune, Antivirus, Tanium, AGPM)
• Manage Infrastructure Configuration Management and Remote Endpoint Management Support
• Document processes and procedures
• Oversee project management tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience supporting and maintaining a MECM/SCCM enterprise environment
• Knowledge of Azure and Intune (MDM, MAM) for Apple and Windows 10 devices
• Experience with Crowdstrike (Antivirus & Firewall) and Bitlocker & Defender (anti-malware and encryption)
• Familiarity with Ivanti Admin patch management for non-Microsoft applications

Education Requirements

• Relevant educational background in Information Technology or System Administration

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a systems administration role focused on endpoint management and security practices.
