  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts

  • Proficient in conducting diagnostic and function tests for pulmonary assessment

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with and examining patients with pulmonary conditions
  • Conducting and analyzing lung capacity and function tests
  • Collaborating with physicians and nurses to create effective treatment plans
  • Administering aerosol medications and evaluating treatment progress
  • Documenting care and updating patient records
  • Operating and managing mechanical ventilators
  • Completing discharge planning with the medical team
  • Training patients on administering treatments and using equipment
  • Recommending equipment for outpatient or home health needs
  • Ensuring patient and employee safety through strict protocols

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in respiratory care
