Ferguson is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Industrial Turnarounds Travel team. This position involves traveling to various locations across the country to service our Industrial customers with their turnaround projects, with travel assignments varying from 1 to 4 weeks at a time. All travel, lodging, and meals are paid for by Ferguson.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) to pull and prepare outbound customer orders
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Use technology like RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage
• Travel to various locations throughout the country for assignments lasting 1 to 4 weeks

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management in the industrial industry preferred
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable giving and/or receiving hand signals when operating equipment
• Self-starter with the ability to learn systems quickly
• Must pass all random drug and alcohol tests, including hair and urine tests

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
